It's designed to look like a double LP, but in place of the liner notes inside there are 25 flaps. Each day, when you open a flap, you’ll find a QR code that takes you to one of our newly recorded holiday songs.
Not too long ago, holiday albums were as much a part of Christmas decorating as stockings on the mantle and chunky glass lightbulbs on the tree. The seasonal vinyl collection was brought out within hours of finishing a Thanksgiving meal and lined up beside the turntable, their age and repeated use obvious by the worn red, green, and occasionally, baby blue spines.
On the front covers you could count on seeing the faces of Bing, Ella, Frank, Peggy, Nat and others. They were like holiday guests we couldn’t wait to arrive.
